Wing Banding
1. Banding Committee members are restricted to the banding of NLGBA wing bands solely and exclusively.
2. For transparency, Banding Committe members should work in pairs. At no circumstance should any member
band alone as can be reflected in the banding sheet signatures.
3. There is a charge of Php 10.00 per head for wing band. Fees must be fully paid in cash upon completion of
bandings. Receipt should be issued to the recipient.
4. Wing banding period strictly from March 1 to 31 for NLGBA and April 1 to 30 for UGBA.
Criteria:
Four (4) or more of the primary wing feathers intact. Farms located outside Northern Luzon provinces
should shoulder the expenses of the banding committee. Requests for a second date of banding schedule
will be done after all banding schedules for each member are done and provided expenses incurred by the
banding committee for the repeat banding will be reimbursed by the requesting member.
5. UGBA banding for NLGBA members will be bound by UGBA rules.
