Welcome Home of Northern Luzon Gamefowl Breeders Association

Scholarship Program Requirements
 
Open to families with a combined Annual Net Income of Php 75,000 or less, this program is intended to supplement financial aid of students’ financial need. This scholarship is not designed as a substitute for aid provided by any institution. Recipients will be selected based on financial need. Scholarships range from half to full tuition.

1. Entrance Examination Result Letter or Notice of Results

2. Must score at least 85% in the entrance examination

3. Original 4th year high school report card with the applicant's eligibility for admission to college duly
     signed by the school principal.
     For previous graduates: Original copy of certification from the high school principal stating that the
     Form 137-A is still in the school file, and has not been forwarded to another school.

4. Recent issued certificate of good moral character from the high school. (with school seal)

5. Original birth certificate printed on National Statistics Office (NSO) paper.

6. Two (2) identical pictures (plain background), size 1 ½” x 1 ½”

7. For Valedictorians, Salutatorians and Honor Roll (s) of duly accredited Philippine high schools with
    at least 20 graduating students: a certification of honors signed by the high school principal. (with
    school seal)
            Valedictorian – NLGBA will cover full tuition and book allowance for two terms (no failing grade)
                                        and may continued if his/her GPA of 1.75 is maintained.

              Salutatorian – NLGBA will cover 75% tuition and book allowance for two terms (no failing
                                        grade) and may continued if his/her GPA of 2.0 is maintained. Candidate is
                                        expected to fund the remainder on his/her own initiative.

  Honorable Mention – NLGBA will cover 50% tuition and book allowance for two terms (no failing
                                         grade) and may continue if his/her GPA of 2.25 is maintained. Candidate is
                                         expected to fund the remainder on his/her own initiative.

8. Failure to meet certain requirements could jeopardize your ability to keep the scholarship.
