About Us:
Welcome to NLGBA is an acronym of Northern Luzon Gamefowl Breeders Association, founded by Benito Tanyao and Wency Borillo this association is affiliated with UGBA. An organization of gamefowl breeders constitutes a diverse makeup of members whose individual stag output ranges from 25 to over a hundred heads a season. The gamefarm of members are predominantly settled in the provinces of La Union, Pangasinan, Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Norte, and Abra.
The organization consists of members, elected officers, a Board of Directors. The members of the organization include gamefowl breeders and others who recognize the importance of preserving the gamefowl industry and this unique breed of fowl. Officers are elected every three (3) years by the general membership at the NLGBA Annual Meeting; consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Membership & Derby Committee and Chairman, Banding Committee . The organization is controlled and managed by the Board of Directors, composed of the officers of the NLGBA and one representative designated from each province affiliate. The secretary serves as the spokesperson for the NLGBA. The Director of Administration is responsible for the operations of the NLGBA office, membership records, communications with membership and affiliates and implementing various programs and initiatives as directed.
Our Mission Statement:
The purpose of this Association is to bind breeders and backyard breeders of gamefowl into an organization, for mutual benefit, exchange of better methods, ideas tending toward perpetuation and improvement of the various breeds of gamefowl.
